Arjun Prasad (Rana) is a man who does not stand injustice and believes in serving people. His father Sanjeevayya(Suman), a corrupt Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Accidentally Sanjeevayya is killed by his opponents in a bomb blast. The last dream of Suman is to see his son (Rana) as CM of State, but Rana joining the politics is forced by his father’s last words and his mother Raajamma (Suhasini) to take the Chief Ministerial position of his dead father. Sanjeevayya's brother Peddayana Madavayya (Kota Srinivas Rao called Peddayana) is a caste based politician, Daunjayj (Subba raju) also trying to become CM. Kota also moves against Arjun. After some incidents Arjun Prasad (Rana) becomes the Chief Minister and takes the help of honest journalist Ratnaprabha( Priya Anand) to weed out the evil elements. How does he become CM, Who Killed His Father, How He bacame a LEADER and what challenges he faces forms the rest of the story.
